"Tim” sculpture

Outside Södra Ängby school's main entrance stands a patinated bronze sculpture of a life-size German shepherd dog climbing a ladder. The sculpture is called "Dog Ascending a Stepladder" and was created by the artist Olav Westphalen. The sculpture was part of the cultural investment in connection with the school's reopening in the fall of 2009. Students in the then class 1A wrote a story about how the dog, which they named Tim, came to the school and what its mission is.
